In a surprising admission that’s already shaking Westminster, Tory leader Kemi Badenoch acknowledged that it is “feasible” Nigel Farage could become the next prime minister of the United Kingdom, while warning the public that “he does not have the answers the country needs.”

Speaking on the BBC’s Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, Badenoch said Farage and his party were “expressing the feeling of frustration that a lot of people around the country are feeling,” but stressed it was her responsibility to deliver real solutions.

Asked directly whether Farage could realistically take the top job, Badenoch replied: “As I said, anything is feasible. Anthony Albanese, people were writing him off. He has just won a landslide.”

Farage, long a polarizing force in British politics, has seen a resurgence amid public dissatisfaction with both the Conservatives and Labour, capitalizing on voter fatigue, immigration concerns, and economic stagnation.

But Badenoch made clear: “My job is to make sure that he does not become prime minister because he does not have the answers to the problems the country is facing.”
