Migrant Convicted After Brutal Assault at Four-Star Hotel

A migrant has been convicted of a violent assault on his girlfriend at a taxpayer-funded four-star hotel in West London.

Mamadou Alion Diallo, 27, originally from Mali, was found guilty at Isleworth Crown Court of intentional strangulation and assault by beating after attacking his partner, Zenabou Quedraogo, at the Heston Hyde Hotel in Hounslow.

The court heard that Diallo attacked his girlfriend in his room at the hotel on 23 October, in what prosecutors described as a “brutal incident.” The matter came to light when police were called to the premises after a second assault occurred on 4 January.

Prosecutor Ravinder Johal told the court: “The argument happened in Diallo’s room at the migrant hotel he lived in, in Hounslow.”

Despite the severity of the assault, it is understood that Diallo is currently being housed at another migrant hotel funded by taxpayers.

Diallo is due to be sentenced at a later date.
