UK’s ‘Q’ Team Unveils Explosive Underwater Drone to Protect Subsea Cables from Sabotage

In a move straight out of a spy thriller, British defense scientists, often dubbed the real-life “Q” from James Bond, have developed a cutting-edge underwater drone designed to protect the nation’s vital subsea cables and infrastructure from sabotage. This new remotely operated vehicle (ROV) is equipped with advanced sensors, cameras, and even explosives, enabling it to identify and neutralize threats like unexploded ordnance or hostile attempts to cut underwater cables by blowing them up before damage can be done.
