Optegra Eye Health Care, based in Whiteley, has published its second group-wide sustainability report showcasing efforts to reduce environmental impact while maintaining high standards in care. Optegra Eye Health Care has released its second annual Sustainability Report, highlighting progress in plastic reduction and operational sustainability across sites in the UK and Europe.

The report states the group achieved a 12 per cent reduction in single-use plastic in the UK over the past year. This milestone forms part of a broader ESG strategy aimed at embedding sustainability across day-to-day operations. Optegra has also improved energy efficiency and reduced patient travel through digital tools, including virtual pre-operative assessments and AI-led triage systems.
